How to measure your wrist
Wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet. If you do not have a tape measure, use a strip of paper or string: wrap it around, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure with a ruler. Note the measurement in inches.
Choosing your fit
Your wrist measurement is the starting point. From there, add a little length for comfort:
- Snug fit: add about 0.25 inch to your wrist measurement.
- Comfort fit (most popular): add about 0.5 to 0.75 inch so the bracelet moves easily without slipping off.
- Relaxed fit: add about 1 inch for a looser, layered look.
Every product page lists the wrist fit and bead diameter for that specific piece, so you can match it to your measurement.
General size reference
As a rough guide for adult wrists: about 5.5–6.0 inches is petite, 6.0–6.8 inches is average, and 6.8–7.5 inches is larger. These are general ranges only — always go by the wrist fit shown on the product page, since bead size also affects how a bracelet sits.
A note on bead size
Our bracelets use beads roughly 12–16 mm. Larger beads make a bracelet sit a little differently on the wrist than smaller beads, so the wrist fit listed on each product page already takes the bead size into account.
Buying as a gift?
If you are not sure of the recipient's wrist size, a comfort fit is usually the safest choice. You can also compare to a bracelet they already wear. If you would like help choosing, email info@ostoneshop.com before ordering and we will be glad to guide you.
